Abortion is America's Biggest Sin
Abortion, as I have said before, is the biggest sin, and the biggest insult against God, than any other act, or any other law performed by the United States, in its 200-plus year history.
Since the Roe vs. Wade decision in 1973 - well over 40,000,000 American babies have been murdered. There are many tragic stories that revolve around the act of abortion in the last 32 years. So many, they would fill books. The following is just one of them.
The columnist George Will once told about a story of two boys from Chino Hills, California. While they were out riding their bicycles one day, they found boxes at the bottom of an embankment. They opened the boxes and found them full of "dead babies."
"Do not be impatient with their language," Will wrote. "They have not read the Supreme Court's opinions. So when they stumbled on the boxes stuffed with 54 fetuses, which looked a lot like babies, they jumped to conclusions. Besides, young boys are apt to believe their eyes rather than the Supreme Court."
Eventually local authorities got involved and talked about the problems of "solid waste disposal." The trucker who had dumped the boxes, ended up in jail for 71 days. The charge was improper disposal of "medical waste."
A group of Christians from Chino Hills asked the coroner to let them bury the 54 dead fetuses. The American Civil Liberties Union got wind of this request by a Christian Group, and was "scandalized by this threat." Scandalized by what? Whose rights were being violated by a church group giving decent burials to 54 dead children? In this case, the ACLU failed in their argument of "facilitation of services by a public official" and all the other usual, separation of church and state crap.
In November 1998, the 54 babies were buried in a plot donated by a nearby cemetery. A volunteer donated 54 little white coffins, and each had a brass plate, with a name engraved on it. A name given to each baby by the Christian Group. And, Will wrote, "the ACLU trembled for the Constitution."
If the ACLU, and all the abortion-rights people are trembling for the Constitution over the decent burials of 54 dead babies - what are they going to do when they face Christ on Judgment Day, and have to answer for the murders of millions upon millions of babies?
If you have been involved with an abortion, or any sin for that matter, all is not lost. Jesus forgives. He will forgive you of all your sins, and you can make it to Heaven by believing in Him and by asking Him for forgiveness:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:16-18 KJV)
