1,000,000 Thanks
In March 1999 we went online with our first web site, the site you are viewing now – Konig.org. In the early days, the site consisted of only a few pages, mostly dealing with Bible prophecy. A few months later, we created another site, called 100prophecies.org. Then, in early 2001, we created aboutbibleprophecy.com.
Each site has its own function and purpose, but all mainly center on Bible prophecy as evidence that the Bible is the true Word of God.
What began as an eight-page web site is now three sites with more than 500 pages, consisting of poems, people in the Bible, places in the Bible, miracles of Jesus, commentaries, such as this one that you are reading now, and of course our main offering, information about Bible prophecy.
We started out 5 years ago with about a handful of visitors each day and steadily increased. In March 2004, we averaged more than 1,000 visitors per day, on all three of our web sites combined.
The reason for this commentary is to thank all of you for the wonderful response that you have given us. On Tuesday, March 16, 2004, at 8 p.m., we received our 1,000,000th visitor. We celebrated as a family, at a dinner table, with barbecued steaks. And we thank you for this. This amount of visitors was beyond any dream we had in 1999.
We want to thank all of you for the many positive emails and support you have given us.
What might be of interest to some of you is a listing of countries that frequent our sites the most. Naturally, the English-speaking countries are on top, such as the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. But what's surprising to us is the number of visitors from Asian countries, such as the Philippines, Singapore, Korea, Japan, China and India. It is heartwarming to get such a large response from so many countries.
